BharatMatrimony has launched a brand new premium membership service which offers full ID verification to users’ profile pictures.

To be eligible for the ‘Prime Membership’, daters are required to hold a university degree, verify their identity through government-issued documents, and upload a profile picture.

Murugavel Janakiraman, CEO and founder of BharatMatrimony, told UNI: “Having pioneered matchmaking for twenty years, we continue to innovate and provide unparalleled service to those looking for a happy marriage.

“A first of it’s kind service in the matrimony domain, Prime offers utmost comfort to members looking for high quality and verified profiles. We’re sure that this deepens our trust with users and enhances their experience.”

Accompanying Prime, BharatMatrimony has also recently launched a number of new security features, including ‘Who Can See Me’ and ‘SecureConnect’.

‘Who Can See Me’ allows people to block certain users from viewing their profile, while SecureConnect supports in-app audio calls without revealing personal phone numbers.

BharatMatrimony’s leading subsidiary Matrimony.com reported a 30% increase in its community throughout Q2.
