UrSafe, RealMe and Spectrum Labs Collaborate on New ‘CheckPlus’ Tool
CheckPlus will give UrSafe users access to RealMe’s security services, which conduct in-depth background checks on matches to make sure they are portraying their true identity and don’t have any criminal history.
The tool also leverages ‘Contextual AI’ from Spectrum Labs that recognises toxic behaviours, such as solicitation, sexual harassment and trafficking, across online platforms in real-time.
Singles can then take advantage of UrSafe’s personal features to make sure they feel comfortable meeting strangers for offline dates.
Co-founder and CEO of UrSafe Anthony Oyogoa explained in a statement: “Through our partnership with RealMe, we can further expand into the online dating space and be the driving force of the next-generation of safety where everyone can stop wondering and start living fully, and safely, because safety isn’t a dream, nor a wish, but a right.”
The formation of this collaboration was inspired by dating apps seeing a 54% increase in user activity since April, largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic forcing people to spend more time at home.
Last month, UrSafe announced an affiliation with The Meet Group that would offer members a free premium trial. During this week’s episode of The GDI Podcast, Oyogoa hinted that more partnerships with dating companies could be coming soon.
