Bumble Schedules First Public Financial Report For 10th March

Written by Dominic Whitlock

Bumble has announced that its first public financial report will be published after the close of the Nasdaq market on Wednesday, 10th March.

The results are going to cover information from the fourth quarter of 2020, as well as the full year ending 31st December.

A conference call will also be held for investors to ask questions about the business. This is scheduled to take place at 4:30pm ET on the same day, with a replay available on Bumble’s Investor Relations page a couple of hours later.

In total, Bumble raised almost $2.5 billion from its IPO earlier this month, after selling 57.5 million shares of Class A common stock at $43 apiece.

There was a lot of anticipation about the new online dating company entering the market and traders were quick to take advantage. The share price had climbed by more than two-thirds by the end of the opening day and peaked at just under $79.

However, due to some wider market correction over the past week, Bumble stock is currently trading at $65.50, giving it a valuation of approximately $7.5 billion.

The market entry was historically significant for Whitney Wolfe Herd as she became the youngest woman to take her company public and joined an exclusive list of self-made female billionaires.
